How quickly can a home buyer purchase the property in Genk?

That depends on your situation and on the notary, but because a home buyer purchases directly, the search for a buyer is eliminated. After you accept an offer, the next steps are planned together. If you want to move quickly, it can go smoothly. If you need more time, the buyer takes that into account.

Do we, as ex-partners, have to pay anything when selling?

When selling between ex-partners or when taking a property out of undivided co-ownership, division duty is usually payable in Belgium. The correct calculation and your tax situation are matters for your notary. We do not provide legal or tax advice on this ourselves, but we are happy to refer you to the right person.

What about the mortgage and the release from joint liability?

If there is still an outstanding loan, it is usually repaid through the notary upon sale. Matters such as the release from joint liability are arranged with the bank and the notary. We are not a bank or a notary, so for those arrangements we refer you to them. You get a clear offer and correct handling.

Is everything really discreet?

Yes. There will be no sign on the property and no online advertisement. The property is not put on the market. The contact remains between you and the buyer, so that the people around you do not have to notice anything.

Sell quickly without an estate agent in Genk and the surrounding area

A divorce is already tough enough. Putting the property on the market for months, arranging viewings, and waiting for a buyer often makes it even harder. It can be different. We put you in touch with home buyers who purchase the property directly, each with a fixed, non-binding offer. This way, you quickly know where you stand.

The home buyers purchase throughout Genk and in districts such as Winterslag, Waterschei, Zwartberg, Termien, and Boxbergheide. They are also active in the nearby municipalities of Zutendaal, As, Diepenbeek, and Houthalen-Helchteren. Whether it is a terraced house in the centre, an apartment, or a family home with a garden, the buyers look at each situation individually.

No estate agent means no commission and no long selling period. You have a clear plan, from the first contact to the sale at the notary's office.
